All slings are handmade, and I very seldom use the same fabric twice so each is a one-of-a-kind. I love having something unique to call my own and you will too. You may choose something you see here on the website, or you can go out and hand pick your very own fabric. The possibilities are endless!

Carry Me Like Joey slings are unpadded ring slings. This type of sling is very easy to use, comfortable, and flexible. It can be used from the day your baby is born and on through the toddler years. And it can be used to carry your baby in almost any position. The standard size fits most people. However, if you are at either end of the size spectrum, just let me know and I can customize your order at no extra charge.

I use nylon rings. These are better than the metal rings for several reasons. You can keep your sling on while going through security checkpoints, and they don't get scalding hot in the summertime. Nylon rings weigh less meaning your slings weighs less. Each ring is individually tested with a 250lb impact test before being shipped out. All of my slings have a nice deep pocket in the tail too. Take advantage and go hands free! There is nothing more liberating that going shopping and not having to use the elevators and ramps.

All of my slings feature a double set of velcro closures to keep the rings in place. This allows you to remove the rings when you wash your sling, so they don't bang around in your machine and wake up your sleeping baby. The velcro is held in place against your back. It also helps spread the fabric out properly along your back and shoulder and helps you get a more comfortable fit. If you prefer not to have velcro in your custom sling, just let me know and I will sew it closed instead.

Another great advantage to Carry Me Like Joey slings are the price! My standard fee is just $25.00 plus my cost of fabric. So, if you are on a budget, know you can still have a fabulous sling for under $30.00. Great pricing enables many of my customers to have multiple slings. Some ladies like to have a sling in different colors for different outfits, or one for special occasions. Dads can have their own sling too, in a more "manly" color, or even with a favorite sports team logo.
